Please Help Us Find Thanit and Athena

Messages From Thanit & Athena's Family

català                                                                             español

The other day, out of the blue, my daughter, Althea turned to me and asked, "Daddy, do you think there are enough Thomas the train cars at Jessie's for my sisters to play with me?", in her sweet squeaky toddler voice.

I tried to sound normal and told her I didn't think her sisters would be able to play with her any time soon.

It's been about a year since Althea's older sisters, Thanit & Athena (ages 10 & 8), were reported missing.

Authorities have since determined that Thanit & Athena were kidnapped - and abducted out of the country.

My family and I will forever grateful if you could forward this message to as many people as possible.

I am asking anyone with information to please contact me (profsheetz@gmail.com - 774-836-4519) or my wife (katmoth@gmail.com 781-731-4948).

A brief description of me and my family - to introduce myself, and so you can 'google' check/confirm this is real.

My name is Jonathan Sheetz. I am a Anatomy & Physiology Professor at Bunker Hill Community College.

I live north of Boston with my wonderful wife, Kate, a yoga instructor, our son Gideon (age 1) and daughter Althea (age 3), expecting our 5th child this summer.

I grew up on a chicken farm in New Hartford, CT (in the Berkshires). We had 5,000 chickens, a few pigs, steers and sheep. I went to Bates College in Maine, finished my pre-med studies at UNC (Chapel Hill, NC). I went to medical school at Duke (Durham, NC). I recently finished a brief post-doc in robotics at Northeastern University. My goal is to do academic research on neural networks.

I have known my wife, Kate, over 25 years. She was friends with my little sister.

Kate grew up in Oak Park, outside Chicago. Our fathers are both scientists. They taught courses together at the Marine Biological Labs (MBL), Woods Hole, MA.  Our mothers are old friends.

My wife and I are becoming alarmed about bizarre information (supposedly related to the case) circulating online and social media.
For the sake of the children, please let us know if you have come across any information online referring to the case.

Also, I want to invite anyone who is interested to learn more about Thanit & Athena's case.
